Designing dependable autonomy systems for real farms across Australia.
I am a Principal Autonomy Specialist and Customer Systems Lead at Agri Automation Australia, working at the intersection of robotics, agricultural engineering, and edge‑native software infrastructure. I design production‑ready autonomy systems that deliver reliable operation, reduce labour pressure, and perform consistently within tight weather and timing windows. My work spans high‑precision GNSS navigation, row‑to‑row route architecture, connectivity and telemetry systems, and Web/Cloud API integrations that link robots to real farm workflows. I take a disciplined, systems‑engineering approach; anticipating failure modes, validating performance, and ensuring autonomy behaves predictably in real‑world conditions.
Contact Me
I work to find and deliver value at the intersection of software architecture and agricultural autonomy. As a trade qualified automotive engineer and university qualified software engineer, I design world class systems for field environments and lead teams toward reliable, measurable performance.
Articles
I publish technical articles through collaboration in the Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) ecosystem, i.e. with contributors of Bytecode Alliance member organisations, which include F5, Microsoft, and Google. I enjoy visiting Silicon Valley for community events. I am a celebrated mentor of the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) and enjoyed attending the inaugural WebAssembly Summit at Google headquarters in 2020.
